Higher Vocational School in Suwałki (Panstwowa Wyzsza Szlola Zawodowa) was founded by the order of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland on the 21st of May 2005. The school offers a great variety of departments to choose the studies from.

Suwałki is situated in the north-east Poland near the borders with Lithuania, Byelorussia and the Russian Kaliningrad area. Number of inhabitants is over 69.000. The Czarna Hańcza River (left bank tributary of the Neman) flows meandering through it.
