Spydeberg is located in Indre Østfold which is a part of the Østfold county in Norway. The population is approximately 5000 inhabitants. It's located 45 kilometers south east of Oslo, alon the highway E 18, which is now undergoing a reconstruction from 2 lanes to 4 lanes. The aim is to cut travelling time and make a safer and better road connection between Oslo and Stockholm. Spydeberg is actively engaged in the IC network and have twinning ageement with Straupe community in Latvia.

Notodden muncipality has approximately 12.000 inhabitants and is located in the eastern parts of Telemark county. The municipality is bordering Kongsberg muncipality in Buskerud county at the eastern side. The population in Rømskog is the smallest in Østfold county with about 700 inhabitants. Rømskog is a located in the north east corner of Østfold county, bordering Akershus county in the north and SWeden in the eat. In the south is Marker municipality.
