Dear ICN friends and members,?
just a few weeks left until summer oficially starts – meaning it is time to focus on our next youth camp. This year ICN together with Planning Aid for Scottland (PAS) and Planning Aid International (PAS’s international arm) will organize an international summer camp for young people in Benmore Outdoor Centre in Dunoon, Scotland. Under the Slogan: European Cities of Tomorrow young people will meet from 11 to 16 of August for a bilateral exchange. Registration is open now until 1st of July. Feel free to forward this info to young spirits in your community and other places. More infos and a detailed programm on our

Internet shopping replaces the trip to the store downtown. Prominent buildings once used for public functions such as town halls, post offices or churches stand empty too, as services have been rationalised or public attitudes have changed.

Last week a delegation from Notodden in Norway visited Suwalki in Poland. Both cities are bound together in a close twin city partnership for five years now. The guests met with the city authorities to sum up five years cooperation and to plan joint activities for the future.

The sixth edition of European Youth Week - EYW2013 - has started and will be celebrated across Europe until the 2nd June. EYW2013 consists of a broad range of events and activities to be organised in all 33 countries participating in the EU’s Youth in Action (YiA) programme, where the coordination and organisation of events has been entrusted to the National Agencies of the YiA.
