Estonia: National state elections

Ruling coalition takes victory

33 seats of Estonia’s 101-member parliament will be taken by Prime Minister Andrus Ansip’s Reform Party - two more seats than in the last term. The ruling Reform Party won 28.6 percent of the votes on Sunday’s national elections and will lead the country for another term, the third one in a row.

Organisers of the UN-backed International Awards for Liveable Communities (LivCom) have launched the search to find the world’s most liveable communities of 2011. Entries are invited from big and small communities. In the past, villages numbering just a few hundred people have stood alongside major cities of several million in demonstrating excellence.
