24 project approved by the BSR Programme 2007-2013

New transnational initiatives launched

missile Monitoring Committee of the BSR Programme approved 24 projects out of 110 applications during the meeting in Copenhagen 24th October. Around 66.1 Million Euro or 29.8 % of the total available EU/Norwegian programme co-financing was allocated. The approved projects involve around 443 project partners from 11 countries in the Baltic Sea area.

The Innovation Circle follow up initiative "Trans-in-form" was not one of the 7 selected projects granted under priority 4, meaning that the project will not be implemented according to plan. The consortium behind the initiative will now look for possibilities of implementing  the project in other ways.

13 of the 24 projects have a lead applicant from Germany. In addition Denmark(3), Sweden(3) and Finland(5) got projects approved. 5 of  the 8 projects granted under priority 4 has a Lead applicant from Germany.
