Europe awarded Aleksander Rybak !
In love with a fairytale
A new star is born ! He smashed all Eurovision records. 16x12 points and almost twice as many votes as the wonderful Icelandic song sung by the lovely Johanna. Aleksander Rybak is not only the new song star from Norway. He is a complete musician and violinist with roots in Nordic as well as East-European culture.
Born in Belarus, Aleksander is fluent in Russian and is already made a hero in Moscow, Minsk and by many in Europe. However, he made Norway more proud than ever, and he's the hottest name around these days, giving Norway the win and that even at 17th May, the Norwegian National day. Guess what whole Norway was talking about this day... Olso will organise Eurovision song contest 2010, but other cities are also candidates. Topping the Moscow event 2009 is almost not possible or realistic but Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK)is ready for the happening anyway. They promise to make an extraordinary event. Aleksander will be in concerts many places the next months. One of the places will be in "Kraftfestivalen", Askim (Indre Østfold 12-16 August).
