Be awarded as Europe’s most innovative region!
Each year AER (Assembly of European Regions)recognizes Europe's most innovative Region. This initiative was first launched in 2006 in collaboration with the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The Prize aims at honoring European Regional Authorities' actions, which have stimulated, fostered and implemented innovation in their territory. It aims at promoting best practices as well as to demonstrate how regions can contribute to regional economic welfare.If you have implemented any innovative projects in your region, download 2 documents to fill in on AER webpage, participate and be awarded!
This year the activity should be exceptional as the 2009 is announced to be the year of innovation and creativity. The 2009 European Year was officially launched on 7 January at a ceremony in Prague with the motto “imagine, create, innovate”.
